Black sand, deep water, and the richest finish in the series. Tahitian vanilla bean and maple syrup give this one real weight. It's dark and almost dessert-like on the front, and then the Amburana spice arrives and pulls it straight back toward bourbon before it ever gets cloying. This is the bottle to open last, after everyone has already decided the night is going long.

Finished in Amburana rum barrels and Tahitian vanilla bean maple syrup.

Tasting notes

Nose
Vanilla bean, dark maple, toasted pecan and a little woodsmoke.
Palate
The biggest body of the five. Maple and vanilla coat everything, then cinnamon and clove push back.
Finish
Long and warming, drying slowly into oak and spice.
How to serve
Neat, after dinner. Exceptional in an old fashioned with an orange twist.
