The orange honey liqueur brightens the finish without softening it, and the Amburana casks leave behind that unmistakable note of cinnamon and sweet spice that you don't get from American oak alone. It drinks like the beginning of a long night.

Finished in Amburana rum barrels and orange honey liqueur.

Tasting notes

• Nose

  Candied orange peel, cinnamon bark, dark honey and a thread of vanilla underneath.

• Palate

  Full and warm. Caramel and baking spice up front, then the citrus arrives and cuts straight through the sweetness.

• Finish

  Long, spiced and dry at the very end. The Amburana holds on after the honey lets go.

• How to serve

  Neat in a glencairn, or over one large cube if you want the citrus to open up further.
